I recently signed up for a sponsored bike ride and needed to buy a bike. Since I have never ridden more than 5 miles in my life before and I had signed up to ride 25 miles, my eldest son, who is an avid cyclist, told me which bike to buy and to get a professional fitting. So, I made an appointment and was told it would take 2 hours. I was taken to an area where there was a collection of equipment and a number of framed certificates on the walls specifying that the person who was doing my fitting was a Certified Bike Fitter. I was impressed that there was such a certification and more impressed with the fitting itself which involved every aspect of ensuring the bike was adjusted uniquely for me.
I had no idea that there was so much involved in a bike fitting and realized that the Certified Bike Fitter was a skilled technician as he meticulously and efficiently executed his discipline. I felt at ease with his questions and decisions and the result was a really comfortable 25-mile bike ride.
A certification in any discipline usually indicates a level of skill and experience that both shows you know that subject area well and that you are recognized as an expert in that field.
At this year’s IBIS conference, we are introducing a series of BusinessObjects certifications so that those who are experts in BusinessObjects can achieve that recognition they deserve – and that could mean you.
IBIS is well known for offering some of the best BusinessObjects training on the planet but now you can put that to use and get certified in a variety of different BusinessObjects disciplines and be recognized for your BusinessObjects expertise.
IBIS 2018 will offer InfoSol BusinessObjects Certification for the following products
- BusinessObjects Web Intelligence
- BusinessObjects IDT (Information Design Tool)
- BusinessObjects Dashboards
- BusinessObjects Administration
IBIS also offers InfoBurst training and the opportunity for InfoBurst Certifications when you take either the InfoBurst Certified Expert or the InfoBurst Certified Expert for Administrators courses.
Upon successful completion of the certification you will receive a certificate along with digital badges that you can use on your signature, resume and social media profiles. You will also be included in the InfoSol registry of certified experts and receive a special recognition memento.
Best of all, this year the cost of the certification is included in your IBIS registration.
All you need to do is to pre-register for one of the certifications, attend 12 hours or more IBIS hands-on training, seminar track sessions or pre/post IBIS training courses and take a 30-minute on-line certification exam. The exam questions were put together by InfoSol experts with more than 10 years of experience is the different subject areas.
I have also noticed more and more people adding IBIS attendance to their resumes so this year’s IBIS will also introduce a unique IBIS Business Intelligence certification which you can receive for attending 15 hours or more of IBIS sessions.
