Bring Your Big Imaginations and Limitless BI Stories to IBIS 2014

So, I am walking through the Costa Rican jungle and my guide is pointing out plants , trees, spiders, birds, butterflies that are just amazing. I have never imagined, let alone seen, most of what he is showing me. He can see that I am dumbstruck and says to me in broken English, “you know I think when God created Costa Rica, he was having a party!”

The diversity of fauna and wildlife here is truly extraordinary and wherever you look there is something new to discover or interesting to feast your eyes on. And this is exactly how the next  InfoSol Business Intelligence Seminar (IBIS 2014) is going to be : truly extraordinary and plenty of new things to discover.

For those who have not heard of IBIS, it is a unique combination of Business Intelligence best practice and future direction seminars combined with the premier BusinessObjects training event of the year. It includes hands-on immersion training boot camps, knowledge exchange seminars on popular BusinessObjects and Business Intelligence topics, a solution showcase exhibition area and plenty of opportunity to talk one-on-one with top BI experts and your peers.

The theme of the last IBIS was Limitless Business Intelligence and the idea that not only has Business Intelligence become pervasive but that the BI solutions being conceived and deployed are only limited by our imaginations.  There were some fascinating Limitless BI solutions presented and we are carrying the theme forward into 2014 with “Limitless Business Intelligence 2.0. BI = Big Imagination” . IBIS 2014 will be a gathering place for people with big imaginations exploring the limitless possibilities of what BI offers.

Better still, this year everyone is being invited to actively participate as InfoSol is inviting individuals and  organizations to present and  demonstrate their limitless BI solutions. The Call for Papers has been announced and you have until January 15 to email your submission. This is a chance to share your big imagination, creative solution or experiences with others who share your passion for BI and BusinessObjects.  There are multiple  tracks so be sure to check them out.

The location for IBIS 2014 will be the world class Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California and although it does not offer quite the same biodiversity as Costa Rica,  IBIS 2014 will bring it a “ bi diversity” that will make it the place to be.
