| Abstract | While dashboards are well known for their data visualization capabilities, many organizations have cleverly and effectively utilized them to provide complete and powerful business intelligence applications. This session will present and demonstrate multiple customer case studies around truly amazing BI applications created through dashboards that delivered solid ROI and resulted in increased adoption through engaging user experiences. The case studies, which will be presented by the organizations themselves, will include applications that delivered bursted Web Intelligence content to offline Xcelsius dashboards to a sales force equipped with iPads and a safety analysis BI dashboard application accessing over a million rows of data with incredible response times. There will also be a demonstration of dashboards using Write Back to a database and Alerts and an HTML5 based dashboard application for both the web and mobile devices. Don’t miss the associated breakout session (on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 2:00 PM – 2:30 PM) to explore how these applications were conceived and developed. |
